BC Wheelchair Basketball Society Honours its Best and Brightest at Annual Awards Night
SURREY, BC -- The BC Wheelchair Basketball Society (BCWBS) honoured the accomplishments of its members at our annual awards night, which took place Saturday, March 3rd, at the banquet for the BC Wheelchair Basketball League finals. Victoria and Royals Claim 2012 BC Championship Titles
Teams from across BC and our friends from Tacoma, came together for the 2012 BC-CWBL Finals at Douglas College in Coquitlam, BC on March 2-4. With a combination of tough competition between all D2 teams in their games and the intense battle of Douglas College’s D1 Lions and Royals, the tournament was a great success. The BC SCI Community Services Network is comprised of five community focused organizations dedicated to improving the lives of over 12,000 British Columbian's with spinal cord injury (or related disability). BCPA helps people with SCI (or related physical disabiltiy) and their families adjust, adapt and thrive in their new lives.
BC Wheelchair Sports Association
Provides opportunities for athletes with physical disabilities, and promotes wheelchair sports within the community.
Neil Squire Society
Uses technology, knowledge and passion to empower Canadians with physical disabilties.
Sam Sullivan Disability Foundation
Provides opportunities for people with disabilties. Promotes the capabilties and talents of people with physical challenges.
BC Wheelchair Basketball Society
Provides people with physical disabilities in BC the opportunity to participate in wheelchair basketball programs.
