There is still time to ensure all kids on our waiting list get their wish for a new sport wheelchair.

Thanks to our generous donors and funders in 2018, we were able to purchase 20 new Lets Play sport wheelchairs for kids in communities throughout BC.

Let's Play programming demands continue to grow. We need your help to purchase an additional 9 Lets Play sport wheelchairs for the deserving kids on our wait list .

DONATE today to help a child receive the wheelchair they need to keep them active, play with their peers and help change their life.

For every donation of more than $20, you will receive one of the new X-Tails Colouring books.  26 pages of colouring fun for kids to learn about para-sport and follow the journey of Wisdom the Lion, Mischief the Wolf and Crash the Hippo and their friends.

Let’s Play has had an exciting year and we are looking forward to bigger and better things in 2019.

2019 Here we Come!

As we look towards the action in 2019 we wanted to take a moment to look at some key successes in 2018.

Zone 8 came away with a 3rd place finish at the 2018 BC Games in Kamloops.  This was a huge accomplishment for the team from North East B.C who had not won a game since 2008. Regional growth and development throughout the province continues to be a focus for us in 2019 with the inclusion of wheelchair basketball programs, at all levels, in various regions. Check out which programs are running this season in your region.

Through our Schools and Community programs, we were able to positively impact 18,025 kids over 40 school and community visits. To learn more about our programs and BC Wheelchair Basketball Society, check out our latest Annual Report for 2017-2018

Our 24th annual corporate fundraising event, Hoopfest, raised a record amount in 2018 as we hosted 10 teams in a fun corporate challenge.  Look for information in January 2019 for details as we celebrate 25 years of Hoopfest!
