Hoopfest’s 22nd Year !

May 18, 2016 On May 19th, 2016 - BC Wheelchair Basketball Society will host its biggest fundraiser, Hoopfest, at the Richmond Olympic Oval. This fun wheelchair basketball tournament will feature teams from corporate and community organizations. Teams have spent the past several months raising money and awareness for wheelchair basketball across the Lower Mainland, and have accumulated $19,000 in donations to date, with the goal of reaching $25,000 by the end of Thursday night. read more...

April 16, 2015 Did the 2015 Canada Winter Games make you want to try wheelchair sports? You're in luck! BC Wheelchair Sports & BC Wheelchair Basketball will be hosting a Multi-Sport Have a Go Day in Prince George on April 25th from 1:30 - 3:00 pm. Whether you're able-bodied or have a physical disability/mobility limitations, you're welcome to come get in the game and meet BCWSA/BCWBS staff and athletes.
